Success Story: Juan Ruiz

ss-juanUpon graduating from OVRP’s 15-week Micro-Enterprise Development Program, Juan and his family were able to successfully scale their small catering business, Rico’s Tacos, well beyond the immediate neighborhood. To equip these budding entrepreneurs with the necessary tools to succeed, OVRP helped to facilitate comprehensive entrepreneur resources: access to lending capital through a fund developed by OVRP’s board; technical assistance to incorporate their business and process the necessary permits and licenses; and mentorship from a Wells Fargo volunteer to help support their back-office and marketing needs.
