In May of 2016, Oak View Renewal Partnership celebrated 10 years of Collective Impact in Oak View. In addition to thanking partners for their numerous contributions, the findings of OVRP’s 2016 Community Wellness Index (CWI) Report was released. The Report, which was published in collaboration with USC’s Sol Price Center for Social Innovation and CSUF’s Center for Demographic Research, is a series of objective data that measures the result of the collective impact in Oak View due to community efforts.
Over the last decade, via active engagement, clear accountability, and leadership from the community; OVRP has delivered measurable impact in: health, education, and economic opportunities available to residents.
The Oak View of today is a safer, healthier community led by passionate leaders. What’s more, OVRP’s proven process has created a working model for other impoverished communities to apply.
