Success Story: Laura Hernandez
Laura currently attends Goldenwest College. By participating in OVRP’s adult education workshops Laura learned how to file her DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) application to get a work permit, how to market her skill sets and how to become more involved with her community. As a result, she was hired by OVRP to help develop a life skills and job readiness program. To date, Laura has helped over 50 young adults build greater confidence and find employment.
